Requirements for new pages:

Presentation:

1. Write the headline in present tense.
2. Write the article content in past tense.
3. Use active voice in both headline and content of the article - not passive voice.

Content:

1. Avoid plagiarism (write in your own words only).
2. Follow neutral point of view. Do not write press releases, one-sided or opinion pieces.
3. Create inverted pyramid structure of article with 5W in first paragraph and then details, followed by relevant background.
4. Aim for accurate reporting. Do not include incorrect information, nor omit important information.
5. Follow neutral point of view. If reporting someone's opinion, attribute it.

Formatting:

1. Ensure a geo location is specified for the news piece to show on map.

Procedure:

1. The page has to be approved by a volunteer peer reviewer.
